The annual event dedicated to welcoming freshers approaches. The entire University community– faculty, staff, tutors and current students—will greet students enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor’s, Single-Cycle, and Master’s Degree courses, welcoming them to the world of Luiss. The welcome weeks are structured according to the new Learning Innovation model and offers face-to-face and online activities.

Students in Bachelor’s Degree and Single-Cycle courses can attend activities scheduled from September 9-11, on campus. However, those unable to participate, will have the option to connect remotely.

For Master’s Degree students, activities are mandatory and will be held online from September 6-16. In any case, some activities will be organized on campus specifically on September 17 and 18. Those unable to participate, will have the option to connect remotely.

On Monday September 13, 2021, all freshers of Bachelor’s, Single-Cycle, or Master’s Degree courses will participate in the traditional “Welcome to Freshers” ceremony. Alessandro Profumo, CEO of Leonardo S.p.A. will deliver a speech.

Freshers’ Weekend for Students of Bachelor’s, Single-Cycle and Master’s Degree Courses

The Hackathon challenges, criminal or civil trial simulations and negotiation sessions, innovation laboratories and digital communication. These are some of the activities that will feature during the Luiss Freshers’ Weekend 2021, dedicated to freshers of the Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Degree courses.

The presentation of the Degree Courses (scheduled online on September 9) will be followed by meetings with tutors and sessions dedicated to the enhancement of digital, creative and transversal skills, coding workshops, web design, video-making, volunteering and much more.

Students are encouraged to participate in the activities scheduled on September 10 and 11 on their Campus, to discover the many opportunities offered at Luiss.

At the end of the compulsory weeks, Master’s Degree freshers will be invited to the Freshers’ Weekend offering on campus activities that will be held on September 17 and 18.

Freshers’ for Bachelor’s and Single-Cycle Degree Students

Hackathon challenges, simulations of criminal or civil trials and negotiation sessions, innovation laboratories and digital communication: these are some of the activities that will animate Luiss Freshers’ Week 2020, the week dedicated to the freshmen of the three-year and single-cycle degree courses.

To discover the many opportunities offered by the Luiss world, students will be able to attend the activities planned from 7 to 11 September in blended mode.

We remind you that the day of September 7 includes only and exclusively virtual activities. For the following days, for virtual activities, you can consult the links to the classrooms available on the platform Luiss Learn. We also remind you that for face-to-face activities, which you have already booked, you can physically access the premises only after receiving our access authorization confirmation.

The limited number activities require reservations, which will be possible starting from the first week of September directly from this site by clicking on the link “Register for the event”. To access the Luiss Learn platform and make reservations, you must have activated the Luiss account.

The welcome weeks dedicated to first-year students of Master of Science programs are structured according to the new Learning Innovation model. The activities are mandatory and will be held online, combining presentations, welcoming and Career Services activities, plenary sessions and group work.
